Colin Harmon of the newly opened Third Floor Espresso cafe came in studio to talk coffee and cafe culture. He expanded on the ‘cafe as third space’  concept and the challenges opening up in Dublin. This Sunday afternoon sees 3fe open officially and there’s a launch party from 12-4pm to celebrate. Coffee roaster Steve Leighton of Hasbean Coffee will be on hand for a Q&A session, taking questions on anything from roasting techniques to his favourite brewing methods. He will be joined by the current Norwegian Barista Champion Oda Misje Haug who will be flying in from Kaffemisjonen, Bergen.

Plus Sadhbh interviewed Jessica Fuller from www.platformireland.ie, a new Irish arts and culture site. The site (in live test mode at present) showcases leading Irish arts and cultural content to audiences worldwide. It is an online venue which features all audiovisual arts content across Ireland from interviews with actors to touring arts online. It also acts as an arts archive and features the latest arts news where new content can be presented and promoted.
